My name is Rob "Moose" Matuszak and I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I am a quadriplegic who has been paralyzed for 40 years and the owner of this adaptive fishing equipment resources website.

 

I first began angling at the age of 5 when I made my first fishing pole out of a tree branch and fishing line. The results of my accident caused me to believe that I could never fish again. In time, I learned that this way of thinking only became a roadblock that was preventing me from reaching my full potential. After many years of sitting indoors in front of the TV and watching fishing greats like Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, and Roland Martin fish, I decided it was time for me to enjoy outdoors too and try fishing myself once again.

 

So, I got myself a fishing pole and headed on down to the closest fishing hole where I first began teaching myself how to adapt to my abilities where disability was once an obstacle. Ever since that day, I have enjoyed the thrill of fishing once again. It is my hope that you too will find the right adaptive fishing equipment amongst the many resources I have gathered from the web and listed on this page.
